Google Lock Down

|

I have read a few articles on how Google feels toward "thin" affiliates. I had my first hand experience last week when Tool King Affiliates Blog was shut down for a few days. Here is what they stated:

Your blog, at http://toolkingaffiliate.blogspot.com/, has been identified as a potential spam blog. For an explanation of what spam blogs are, please see Blogger Help: http://help.blogger.com/bin/answer.py?answer=42577
Google is making it clear that they don't like:
  1. Irrelevant, repetitive, or nonsensical text
  2. Large number of links, usually all pointing to a single site
  3. Waste a few seconds of your time when you happen to come across one
  4. Clog up search engines, making it difficult to find real content on the subjects that interest you
Google wants you to have a site that offers the information your customer is looking for and glue them on your site for a while. Next time you need to leave somewhere, you can leave Tool King Affiliates Blog as your screen saver and make sure to bookmark the page also. I'm just kidding, you don't have too, but that should be the goal.
